2】10 shops you have to go at Kappabashi

 http://kottakaji.blogspot.jp/2013/01/come-to-japan-go-to-kappabashi-to-get.html
(This post is a continuation of this.)

There are lots of shops at Kappabashi.
Indeed, there are TOO many of them.

You do not know where to go.
But you do not have enough time to go all the shops.

Here is the list of the shops I recommend you to go!
Most of my kitchen utensils also came from these shops.

http://www.kappabashi.or.jp/shops/101.html

If you go to Kappabashi by train, the first shop you encounter is this shop.
This is the shop that sells Japan made ceramics that are often sold at department store, too(at much more higher price).

http://www.kappabashi.or.jp/shops/117.html
In front of Dengama over the street, there is Niimi.
Here you can buy all kinds of kitchen utensils for professionals.

Dr.Goods
https://www.dr-goods.com/

Here is the rare shop in this street that sells imported kitchen utensils that are sold at a list price at a cheeper price.

Kitchen World TDI
http://www.kwtdi.com/

Here you can buy wide range of kitchen utensils mainly for amateurs, not pro at a discount price.

http://www.kap-kam.com/

This is a small shop, but they sharpen your knife very nicely.

http://www.kama-asa.co.jp/

This shop sells mainly non brand Japanese knives.
You can buy high quality knives because they are come from the factory directly(before they become brand product).

They have a English speaking clerk with deep understanding in their products so that you can buy right one easily.

Next to the knife shop, there is a shop that sells selected items.
This shop is nice, too.

http://www.nakao-alumi.jp/index.html

They themselves are the manufacturer of aluminum products.
If you are fan of aluminum products like a pan or a pot, here is a shopping heaven.

http://www.kappabashi.or.jp/shops/162.html

Here is the shop that sells all kinds of coffee(and wine) related products.
Even though I don't have coffee, I enjoy watching this shop because they sell the products you rarely to see at other shops.

http://e288.jp/

Here is the best place to watch the Sky Tree from.
Tsuba ya is the Japanese knife shop.

(Kondo shoten)
http://www.kappabashi.or.jp/shops/56.html

Here is the bamboo product shop for professionals.
Although bamboo product is also sold at other shops, their products are the best in quality.

http://www.manryou.co.jp/

If you want to buy Chinese kitchen utensils, here is the rare shop you can buy them in this street.
They sell good seiro(Chinese steamer made by wood, bamboo) at a cheep price.

http://www.kappabashi-coffee.com/

The end of the street, here is one of the best coffee shop in Tokyo.
You can enjoy tasty coffee, tea, bread at cozy space.

Second floor of this building is also a shop selling nice ceramics.

1】Come to Japan? Go to Kappabashi to get great kitchen utensils!!

According to the Blogger access research, amazingly, there are some viewers from outside Japan!
I didn't expect this. because I'm writing this blog in Japanese and writing only about very domestic things.
But I am very happy with this situation and want to thank those who visit here  even though they can not read Japanese.

I wonder that what makes those guys to watch this diary-like cheep blog??

Accident? Japanese from abroad? Maybe yes.
But I have one thing(actually, many things.) I want to inform you.
In the case you are a serious cock, " Go to Kappabashi to get high quality kitchen utensils, especially, Japanese Knife!"

Do not go to Tokyo Skytree, Kokyo(Tokyo imperial palace),  Tokyo Disneyland, department store and other places some guide books recommend you to go.
Instead, go to kappabashi(sorry, maybe here is also listed in a guidebook).

Kappabashi(Kappabashi dougu street )  is a kind of market for professional cock.
There are lots of shops that sell kitchen utensils such as Japanese knife and they are mainly Japan-made products, high quality, relatively cheep price(don't expect 100yen shop!).
Although these shops are for a pro, but amateurs also can enjoy shopping and on Saturday(on Sunday most shops are closed), many people(mainly Japanese, few tourist from outside japan) come to here.

Already know? Already gone?
NO.
You do not know  "proper" way to walk.
You do not know "right" store to go.

I'll tell you some of the fantastic shop at Kappabashi.
